How To Apply

Residencies are available from March 15th to November 15th every year, for 1 to 8 weeks, tailored to the artist. The residency includes a private bedroom, shared bathrooms and kitchenette, in addition to studio space and access to various tools and equipment. Applicants must be at least 25 years old.

To apply please submit the following to billyehret@missionstreetarts.com.  All applications must be submitted electronically.

  • How you found out about Mission Street Arts
  • Dates you are available for the residency
  • Resume
  • Work sample –  Please provide documentation based on genre, i.e. link to website, or jpeg sample of recent pieces, pdf documents of writing, video, etc.  Please provide enough documentation for our board to get a clear idea of the work you have made and the work are looking to make while in residence. 
  • A letter of interest outlining your goals and objectives for the residency and community engagement activities and how this residency will impact your process.

Artists are chosen by our current board members Eva Murphy, Devin Williams, and Billy Ehret.
